NAR Ethics Requirement

REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2.5 hours of instructional time within three-year cycles. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®.

The current cycle is January 1, 2022 - December 31, 2024. AI brokers need to take a NAR approved Code of Ethics class during this cycle and submit it to their primary association.

Ways to meet the requirements

  • Code of Ethics classes (in-person, online, and on-demand): HERE
  • NAR on-demand Ethics courses: HERE (if you are required to take an Ethics course for this cycle-do not take the New Members course)
